UTICA-ROME -- After a couple weeks off due a combination of illness, lack of submissions and being overwhelmingly busy... the Picture of the Week is back! And this week, we have Kenny the Promo Guy from Kiss-FM to thank for sending in this blast from the past from his personal collection.
It's America's Biggest 15K Road Race, with over 10,000 runners, including Governor David A. Paterson. Nearly every radio station in the Utica-Rome market was there, so we put everyone's name in a hat and KISS-FM came out as the station to represent the Boilermaker in this installment of the Picture of the Week.

UTICA/ROME -- Many of the songs featured on "Beautiful Music" (WUTQ/WADR) may have been big hits when AM Radio was the only choice, but fans of the format don't have to keep listening on AM anymore. Roser Communications Network has turned the simulcast into a trimulcast, with the addition of a new FM translator.
SYRACUSE -- The online/low-power Kiss-FM in Syracuse is adding some syndicated content to its lineup. Management tells CNYRadio.com the station, streaming at kissfmcny.com, will begin carrying the Phoenix-based Retro 80s Weekend on Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 2pm, starting this weekend.
