Jim Asker moves to Music Row

April 2, 2001 by Scott Jameson

Former WSEN Program Director and afternoon drive jock Jim Asker has joined as head of their Nashville-based country office.

Asker, a SUNY Oswego graduate, got his start at WKFM in the late 70's and began his long association with country radio at WSEN in the early 80's. He most recently worked at WMJC in Long Island.

AllAccess President Joel Denver says, "As AllAccess has successfully expanded into serving Top 40/Mainstream, Crossover, Alternative, and most recently Rock, it became apparent that with the large number of Country programmers already coming to for information, an expansion into Country was a no-brainer."
