SiteShell pulls out of radio web site business

December 6, 2001 by Scott Jameson

SiteShell announced this week that it will no longer handle website maintenance and content, but is now a technology and platform licensing company that will license its technology as a package to group broadcasters and other companies.

Locally, Oldies 92 (WSEN FM) and WFBL 1050 AM recently signed on with SiteShell's network and are utilizing the company's suite of tools and predefined page layouts for their stations' web presence. A new company formed by former SiteShell employees will be licensed to maintain individual sites for affiliate stations.
