Stations 'out and about' for the holidays

In what has become an annual tradition, a number of stations are sending their morning teams out for live broadcasts featuring some of central New York's best musicians. Here's the lineup so far:

  • B104.7 - Thursday, Dec. 20, Golden Corral, Fulton
  • Sunny 102 - Friday, Dec. 21, Wegmans, Fairmount Fair
  • Oldies 92.1 - Monday, Dec. 24, Heroes and Legends Cafe', State Fairgrounds
  • 93Q - Monday, Dec. 24, Lemoyne Manor, Liverpool

The 5th annual 'Ron and Becky Christmas' party will be held Thursday, December 20 from 6-10 a.m. at the Golden Corral on Route 481 in Fulton. Live music includes Nashville recording artist Kristin Garner along with Amber Taylor, the Phoenix High School Chamber Singers, the Fulton High School Stage Band, Dan Elliott, and the B104.7 Carolers. While you're there, pick up breakfast for $1.04.

Sunny 102
Big Mike hosts his annual Christmas show at the Fairmount Fair Wegmansfrom 7-11 a.m. on Friday, December 21. Performers include The Flutels, Joe Whiting, Todd Hobin, Donna Colton, Dave Hanlon's Cookbook, and more.

Oldies 92.1
Once again WSEN is out at Heroes and Legends Cafe' at the State Fairgrounds for their live holiday celebration on Christmas Eve from 6-11 a.m.. Morning man Gary Dunes will play host to the event which includes live performances from his band The Deltunes along with The Critics, Street Corner, The Fab Five, Joe Whiting, and others. Breakfast is $1.92.

93Q broadcasts its celebration from Lemoyne Manor on Old Liverpool Road in Liverpool on Christmas Eve from 6-10 a.m.. Ted and Amy welcome Prime Time, The Mario DeSantis Orchestra, Under the Gun, The Critics, Spirit of Syracuse, Letizia and the Z Band, TRYX, Private Eye, Joe Whiting, Ronnie Leigh and Donna Colton. Breakfast is $1.93.
