Public radio's WCNY 91.3 FM and the Jazz Appreciation Society of Syracuse are sponsoring a tribute dinner for Leo Rayhill, host of the station's long-running The Sounds of Jazz. The event will be held at Le Moyne Manor on April 21.
Rayhill's show has been one of WCNY's most popular programs since its debut on the station in 1972. Before that, the show spent ten years on WQSR, WPAW, and WHEN. For more information on the tribute dinner, call WCNY at 453-2424.
