Radio personalities turn out for Amato benefit

Area musicians and radio personalities are coming together for a benefit for cancer survivor Sam Amato. Sunday's lineup of live music includes: Smokin', The Cobblerockers, Joe Whiting, and Dan Elliot. Syracuse air personalities Glenn 'Gomez' Adams, Ron Bee, Gary Dunes, Jim O'Brien, Becky Palmer, and Eric Will are also scheduled to make appearances.Amato, 61, who was lead singer of Sam and the Twisters, was diagnosed with throat cancer several years ago.

Damon's on Route 31 and Thompson Road is hosting the event which gets underway Sunday at 2 p.m.
