Scott Carr leaving WIBX

September 12, 2003 by Scott Jameson

WIBX AM 950 is losing its news director and morning anchor. Scott Carr, who also served as the station's program director, is relocating with his family to the Raleigh-Durham area.

Carr's Utica-Rome radio career includes stints on Bill Keeler's Rock 107 (WRCK) morning show, overnights on Lite 98.7 (WLZW) in the mid '90s, and middays/music director duties at the now-defunct KG 104 (WKGW).

No replacement has been named yet.
