With a uniformed police officer at his side, Ed Levine, head of Galaxy Communications, made a trip to Utica earlier this week to pick up the keys to the three stations his company previously owned.
With the short lived deal between Galaxy and Route 81 Radio off, WKLL, WTLB AM, and WRCK are back under the Galaxy umbrella. As a result, WKLL has flipped to active rock as 94.9 K-Rock.
What's the story under the hood? According to Inside Radio, Levine cites a missed payment as the reason. There hasn't been any published response yet from Route 81 Radio.
