Saga buys Ithaca cluster

Saga Communications has picked four Ithaca radio stations as the company's first acquisitions in the state of New York.

Saga has agreed to buy Q-Country (WQNY), Lite 97 (WYXL), WTKOldies (WTKO), and WHCU 870 AM from Eagle Broadcasting. The deal should be completed by the fourth quarter of this year.

Saga owns radio stations in 24 other markets across the country.
