Fans of This American Life can rest easy; WRVO FM 90 has reconsidered its earlier decision to stop airing the weekly program. Other shows might not be as lucky though. Studio 360 is being dropped from the public radio station’s schedule at the end of the month, and The Splendid Table may not survive either.

Plans for the ninth annual K-Rockathon are taking shape. The one-day event happens July 30 at the Cayuga County Fairgrounds in Weedsport. It’s the first time the outdoor concert will be held on a Friday. At least one half of Y94FM’s former morning show team has lined up another Syracuse radio gig.

With a year and a half left on his contract, Howard Stern says he’s ready to leave, especially if Infinity honcho Mel Karmazin exits. “I am so done with this situation,” Stern told listeners. “It’s ridiculous. I want out, I want to go work for another medium where I can talk and not worry if
