‘Gooner’ takes on role of Gilligan

He’s known to Syracuse radio listeners as ‘Gooner’. Now Mark Groesbeck of Weedsport is adding to his broadcast resume with a spot on TBS’s The Real Gilligan’s Island where he stars as one of two Gilligans on the cable network’s new reality series.

Groesbeck has been a frequent guest on Scorch’s radio show, first on K-Rock (WKRL/WKRH) and then on Rock 105 (WWDG) where he’s performed stunts like wrestling ostriches.
