SYRACUSE/UTICA/OSWEGO -- Local fans of A Prairie Home Companion will soon have a chance to screen "The Man on the Radio in the Red Shoes," the 2008 documentary about APHC host Garrison Keillor.
The Oswego-based NPR affiliate says screenings of the 86-minute film will be held in Syracuse, Oswego and Utica in May. Members of the Internet Movie Database rated the film 9.5 out of 10 stars.

This unique film offers a behind the scenes look at Keillor and his weekly radio variety program “A Prairie Home Companion.” Garrison Keillor is one of America’s foremost humorists and commentators. He takes his comedy skits and musical numbers across the country every week, to the delight of his legions of loyal fans.
