ITHACA -- From the "better late than never" file, there's a slight change in the ownership of ROI Broadcasting, the owner of standalone CHR-formatted Z95-5 (WFIZ) and translator W299BI.
According to AllAccess.com last week, ROI partner George Kimble sold 2% of his 51% share in the company to 49% owner Alan Bishop. The $10,000 deal gives Bishop the majority stake in ROI. At the same time, a similar deal between the two partners, also worth $10,000, gives Bishop controlling interest over two other stations, located in western New York.
