SYRACUSE -- Citadel CHR 93Q (WNTQ) has revealed the lineup of national recording acts set to perform at its second annual "Summer Jam on the Island" concert. The show is set for Monday, June 7th at Paper Mill Island in Baldwinsville... and just like last year, the tickets are free, but the only way to get 'em is to win 'em.
Station management says tickets -- to be awarded blocks of four -- will be given away through multiple distribution channels. Some will be awarded on the air, others will be awarded through the station's website, and yet more tickets will be given to listeners who enter via text message.

Summer Jam on the Island debuted last year after the station announced in February 2009 that it had ended its longtime sponsorship of Jamesville Beach's annual Balloonfest event. WNTQ had provided musical acts (and plenty of publicity) for Balloonfest for many years up until that point.
