ITHACA -- News-Talk 870/95.9 (WHCU) is putting out the call for applications "for future openings in the Cayuga Radio Group news department," says Assistant PD Dave Veiser.
While there are no specific openings right now, Vieser says the cluster is hoping to hear from "unemployed or under-employed broadcasters," as applicants could be considered for a variety of full-time and part-time positions.
Vieser says "those interested should have a background of news writing, some on-air experience, computer familiarity, production skills, and an example of their work available via mp3." Applicants can email their resume, references and MP3 to Dave's boss, PD Geoff Dunn, at gdunn@cyradiogroup.com.
CNYRadio.com is always happy to spread the word about local radio job openings, free of charge! You'll get plenty of eyes from local broadcasters who may be available to go to work for you immediately -- and you can add us to your list of recruitment sources for your EEO public file reports.
Station managers, please add cnyradio@cnyradio.com to your email distribution lists for job postings. Even if you're not working in radio, if you happen to spot a radio job posted somewhere, we'd appreciate a heads-up via that same email address.
