SYRACUSE -- Starting tomorrow at noon, owners of HDRadio tuners will be able to tune in holiday-themed jazz anytime, night or day. Classic FM (WCNY) is offering "The Sounds of Christmas Jazz" non-stop through Christmas Day on its HD3 stations in Syracuse, Utica and Watertown.
Program Director Pete McElvein tells CNYRadio.com, "station IDs will be voiced by Leo Rayhill," the longtime host of "The Sounds of Jazz," heard regularly on WCNY-FM and WCNY-HD3. This is the third year the station will be offering Christmas jazz around-the-clock.
WCNY-HD3 is available exclusively to listeners using HD Radio receivers. The frequencies are 91.3-HD3 in Syracuse, 89.5-HD3 in Utica and 90.3-HD3 in Watertown.
