SYRACUSE -- Radio versus TV... who will win? You can see for yourself tonight when local broadcasting personalities from CNYCentral (WSTM/WTVH) television take on colleagues from Galaxy Communications radio. They'll be playing basketball to raise money for Golisano Children's Hospital and for a local school teacher who's battling Lou Gehrig's Disease.
According to a story by sportcaster Niko Tamurian from CNYCentral, tip-off is at 6:00pm tonight at LaFayette High School. Tamurian will be joined by several of his co-workers from the television stations on James Street, including anchor Matt Mulcahy.
Representing Galaxy, some of the crew from Disturbing the Peace on ESPN Radio (WTLA/WSGO) will be joined by co-workers from sister stations including Biff from K-Rock (WKRL/WKRH) and Dave Frisina from TK99/105 (WTKW/WTKV).
Check the story Tamurian posted on CNYCentral.com for a video of Niko's visit to the ESPN Radio studios to chat about the game on DTP earlier this week.
