"Small Guy" to Begin 8-Day Benefit Tour

December 1, 2011 by

AUBURN -- On the western fringe of the coverage area, tomorrow will be the beginning of a very long 8-day stretch for "The Small Guy" from Geneva-based Hot Country K101.7 (WFLK) / and Canandaigua-based K104.5 (W283BF) and WCGR (1550).  He'll be camping out in an RV, at various locations all week, collecting donations for the less-fortunate.

They're calling it the "Caravan of Christmas" and The Small Guy will log about 50 miles on the road over the next week, broadcasting live from various locations stretching from Auburn to Canandaigua.  At each stop, he'll be accepting non-perishable food items, along with new or gently-used toys and clothing.  The donations will be distributed to Finger Lakes familes in need this holiday season.
