Why Full OR Part Time?

Added 2/3: asked GM Wayne Taylor why the position could be "full or part-time," since program directors are usually full-time.

He explained to that operations director Mark Hard's duties have expanded, particularly following last summer's launch of Mars Hill's fifth full-power station, WMHU, in the Utica-Rome market.  As a result, Hard has been sharing PD duties with part-time announcer Dan Dunn.

"Having considered Mark’s load with operations, it was to our advantage in having Dan involved," Taylor said.  "Dan has much experience in the PD field."

Taylor tells "this new PD position is in consideration stages," explaining that Mars Hill is evaluating candidates "for this possible change in our structure."
