New Country WOLF 105.1 Launches New Website, Adds New Middayer

April 25, 2012 by

SYRACUSE -- There's a brand new look for the website of New Country WOLF 105.1 (WOLF-FM Syracuse / 96.7 WWLF-FM Oswego).  Along with a brand new design, the site is noticeably beefed-up with many features.  A look at the site also confirms what some readers have been telling us -- there's a new midday talent on the lineup.

That midday hostess is Taylor Smith, a graduate of Syracuse's Bishop Ludden High School who returned home after earning her degree from Emerson College last year.  While she's new to the WOLF on-air lineup, she's been in the building as promotions director since last October, and she previously interned with sister station MOViN' 100.3/96.5 (WMVN) during a summer break from college.

As for the new website, you'll find it at the same address as the old one --  We're guessing some of the credit on the new site is due to Brandon C., who had joined the WOLF / MOViN camp in January as an on-air talent, and had webmaster duties added to his plate when he was promoted to full-time status earlier this month.

Thanks for the Tips!

Thanks to readers who emailed in upon hearing Smith's debut in the midday shift on WOLF.  It's often difficult for your editor to tune-in during the midday hours (due to his "real" job) and we hadn't yet heard back when we asked the station to verify what we had been told.  (Thankfully, the new website confirms it for us.)  We're always grateful for your news tips at or via the Contact Form, where your name and email are optional if you'd prefer to remain anonymous.
