SYRACUSE -- Longtime NewsChannel 2 (WKTV) anchor Bill Worden, who retired last November after 35 years with the Utica NBC affiliate, received the Syracuse Press Club's Career Achievement Award this past weekend. Thanks to one of his former co-workers, we've got a few photos to share.
Here's Worden, center, joined by NBC 3 (WSTM) anchor and managing editor Matt Mulcahy, left, and NewsChannel 9 (WSYR-TV) anchor Rod Wood, right.
Next, Worden poses with his Career Achievement Award during the SPC's ceremony last Saturday night at Drumlins Country Club in Syracuse.
Our thanks to WKTV Digital Media Producer Andrew Donovan for sending along these three photos. In this last shot, that's Donovan in the middle, "photobombing" Worden and Wood. Congratulations again to Bill Worden on your award, and on a long and successful career!
More photos: Photographers from The Bly Project took photos of all the award winners, along with a number of "candid" shots during last Saturday night's dinner. All of the photos have been posted on Flickr.
