FCC fines Roser Communications

AllAccess.com is reporting that the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is fining Roser Communications $8,800 for Emergency Alert System (EAS) violations at Bug Country (WBGK/WBUG-AM/FM) in Utica. The fine was lowered from $11,000 upon review of the stations' prior history of compliance.

Dick Carr's 'Big Bands' moves to WFBL

The show got its start on Jazz 88 (WAER) almost two years ago, and a syndicated version was picked up by the WOR Network and 30 stations across the country earlier this year. Now, Big Bands, Ballads, and Blues is moving to TalkRadio 1050 (WFBL) in Syracuse on Sundays from 8 - 10 a.m.
