SYRACUSE — Galaxy Communications has two openings at its Syracuse cluster.  First up, they’re looking for a new co-host for ESPN Radio’s locally-produced afternoon drive show Disturbing the Peace.  And they’re also looking for a broadcast engineer who can also handle some IT-related duties.  Complete job postings appear inside the story.

ITHACA/CORTLAND — ROI Broadcasting’s top 40 Z95.5 (WFIZ) is looking for a morning co-host.  Didn’t they just hire one?  Yep, about two months after the station announced the arrival of Nikii, PD and morning co-host Corey tells us Nikii had “family/personal problems and had to move back to her hometown in Ohio.”

UTICA-ROME — The Galaxy Communications cluster in Utica (well, technically, the Washington Mills area of New Hartford) is looking for a new local sales manager, according to a job posting we spotted today.

ITHACA/CORTLAND — The latest contest from ROI Broadcasting’s Z95.5 (WFIZ) is offering listeners some on-air exposure and the chance to get themselves a spot on the air staff as a “ZJ.”
