SYRACUSE -- Ten years after Buckley Broadcasting purchased the WFBL call letters and moved the station to 1050 AM, WFBL and the station's news-talk programming have returned to its legendary 1390 AM frequency.
Conservative talker Laura Ingraham, who was bumped to a late night time slot on 570 WSYR earlier this year to make room for Michael Savage, will move to TalkRadio 1050 (WFBL) beginning in September. The show got its start on Jazz 88 (WAER) almost two years ago, and a syndicated version was picked up by the WOR Network and 30 stations across the country earlier this year. Now, Big Bands, Ballads, and Blues is moving to TalkRadio 1050 (WFBL) in Syracuse on Sundays from 8 - 10 a.m.

Sister stations Oldies 92.1 (WSEN FM) and WFBL 1050 AM unveiled completely redesigned station web sites earlier this week. The stations have partnered with the BlueDot WebSite NetWork to create content-rich web sites that are a mix of local station information and national news and features aimed at the station's target demographics.
