WASHINGTON, DC -- Plans for a proposed new AM radio station in Saint Johnsville are dead.  In a four-page ruling issued today, the Federal Communications Commission sealed the fate of what would have been 1120 WKAJ.  The FCC confirmed its earlier ruling that the station's expired construction permit will not be reinstated.

Unbuilt Little Falls Station to Move East

UTICA/ROME -- The company planning to build a new AM station licensed to serve Little Falls has filed paperwork with the FCC to move the station to a new location, southeast of the original tower site. As a result, it appears WKAJ 1120 will eventually sign-on with Saint Johnsville as it's community of license.
