SYRACUSE -- For at least the second year in a row, the Town of Cicero's Community Festival Parade had a local broadcaster leading the way. NewsChannel 9 (WSYR-TV) Chief Meteorologist Dave Longley, a resident of the town, served as the Grand Marshal for this year's parade.
SYRACUSE -- There are some new voices delivering weather forecasts for four of Clear Channel's six local radio stations. As of Monday, FM Newsradio 106.9 and 570 WSYR plus two other stations started using meteorologists from AccuWeather.com, ending a three-year affiliation with The Weather Channel's radio services.
SYRACUSE -- NewsChannel 9 (WSYR-TV) chief meteorologist Dave Longley made a surprising announcement about his personal health on tonight's newscasts: he's been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.
