VERONA — Just one week to go until the doors open for the 37th Annual Broadcast & Technology Expo, hosted by Syracuse Chapter 22 of the Society of Broadcast Engineers.  As always, there will be plenty of high-tech toys on display, and several demonstrations of the latest and greatest broadcasting equipment.  And admission is free!

UTICA-ROME — Merv Ainsworth, a longtime WKTV engineer who helped to bring FM radio to Utica in the 1960s, died over the weekend.  He was 83 years old.
