Utica’s Hank Brown to retire at year’s end December 23rd, 2013 UTICA-ROME — After 55 years of broadcasting in the Mohawk Valley, Hank Brown is ready to hang up his headphones for good. His final broadcast on 95.5FM WUSP will be New Year’s Eve, Tuesday, December 31. This, according to a press release from WUSP’s Tom Coyne today.
Utica-Area Retired Broadcaster Dick Nellis Dies March 8th, 2011 UTICA/ROME — Dick Nellis, who worked at a number of Mohawk Valley stations including WLFH, WADR, WALY and WUTQ, has passed away. Nellis, who also worked at stations in the Hudson Valley region south of Albany, was 70.
