Central New York based radio group Galaxy Communications has agreed to purchase traditional country formatted WSCP FM 107.1 and AM 1070.
The two Pulaski stations, currently owned by Tri-County Broadcasters, will switch hands for a reported $400,000. No word yet on a format change, if any. Galaxy Communications also owns Classic Rock TK 99/105 (WTKV/WTKW), Modern Rock K-Rock (WKRL/WKRH/WKLL), and WSGO/WTLA.
In the end, there was no format change until Galaxy sold the FM side. WSCP-AM remains as of 2009 with a simulcast of TK-99. Gee, thanks Ed.
