Route 66 program to air on Labor Day

This Monday, WRVO FM 90 will broadcast a three-hour program tracing the music, arts, and history of America's first divided highway.

Across the Tracks: A Route 66 Story, hosted by 1960's television star Martin Milner, drives the audience from Chicago to Los Angeles in honor of the highway's 75th anniversary. The show, which airs on Labor Day at 1 p.m., features music from Ry Cooder, W.C. Handy, Woody and Arlo Guthrie, Bob Wills, and Asleep at the Wheel.
