Random Access ends run on WSYR

September 9, 2001 by Scott Jameson

The locally produced computer advice show Random Access aired its last 570 WSYR broadcast on Sunday, September 9.

The show's hosts, Gene Wolf and Al Fasoldt, are open to the idea of keeping the program alive if another local station expresses an interest.

It looks like Wolf and WSYR are making a clean break. His daily Random Minute features have been discontinued as well as his Live Listener Link interactive web application that has been a big part of Jim Reith's afternoon talk show.

Wolf is still marketing that product to other stations around the country through his company InterActive Websites.
