93Q (WNTQ), 95X (WAQX), and Lite 105.9 (WLTI) have resumed streaming of their live signals over the Internet, the first commercial radio stations in Syracuse to do so.
As the result of a dispute over talent royalties that flared up last spring, most radio stations across the country put web streaming on hold while a solution was worked out. The legal problems have not yet been settled, but stations have slowly been returning to streaming in recent months as technologies used to filter out certain broadcast content is developed and fine-tuned.
93Q, 95X, and Lite 105.9 utilize Yahoo's audio streaming service.
