WHEN picks up postseason baseball action

With its local commitment to Syracuse University sports, it was too tight of a squeeze over at ESPN Radio 1260 to fit in the network’s postseason baseball play-by-play coverage this fall. Fear not, baseball fans, SportsRadio 620 has acquired the rights to air the broadcasts. According to WHEN program director Jim Lerch, “Even though we are a competitor of WNSS, ESPN wanted the games on in this market and we were happy to take them.”
