Howard Stern's raunchy syndicated morning show is a "bona fide news interview" program according to the Federal Communication Commission (FCC), the same organization that, in the past, has fined the shock jock $1.7 million dollars for obscene broadcasts.Stern's show, which airs in Syracuse on 95X (WAQX), had requested the designation from the FCC in order that it may interview California gubernatorial candidate Arnold Schwarzenegger without being required to offer equal time to the other candidates in the race.
