Benefit planned for Jim O’Brien

SYRACUSE — The Syracuse radio community is coming together for a benefit in support of market veteran Jim O’Brien.
The event, to be held from 1-6 p.m. on Novemeber 15th at the Valley Legion Hall, will help defray medical expenses for the former disc jockey who was recently diagnosed with a serious illness. 93Q’s Ted Long and Amy Robbins along with WSEN’s Gary Dunes will emcee the event which includes food, drinks, raffles, and drawings. Entertainment will be provided by Dan Elliott & The Monterays.  O’Brien was a longtime air personality on WNDR 1260 AM.
