Q Country leads Ithaca ratings

February 3, 2004 by Scott Jameson

Q Country (WQNY) dropped nearly seven ratings points from the spring to fall ratings period, but the Ithaca station managed to hold on to the top spot in the market with a 12.1.

In Arbitron numbers released last week, Q's sister Eagle Broadcasting station, Lite 97 (WYXL), also lost ground in its share of the market after losing more than three points, but maintained its number two rank.Where did all the listeners go? Citadel's I100 (WIII) rebounded to third place, WHCU moved up nearly three points, and Clear Channel's New Rock 105 'The Dog' (WWDG) scored an impressive 6.1.

Numbers are for listeners 12+ in all dayparts and are not necessarily indicative of rankings in key sales demographics.
