Starting later this week, Newsradio 950 WIBX's local talk show First Look will have the chance to gain some new... viewers. Yes, viewers. Every Friday in October, the show will be videotaped for re-broadcast on TV.
The general idea, as explained in an e-mail to "WIBX Listener Club" members today, is that the Friday editions will feature "one-on-one interviews with candidates for the upcoming election."
Although the e-mail sent to listeners says "you can see the interviews live on WUTR and WFXV," we've since been told the radio broadcast will actually be "videotaped live" for TV broadcast at a later time. As you can see from the comments below, WFXV will air First Look on Sundays at 10:30am. No time was given for the WUTR broadcasts.
First Look airs weekdays from 8-9am on WIBX.
The show will be live as usual on WIBX, it will be taped for later broadcast on WUTR and WFXV. WFXV will be Sunday @ 10:30am.
Thanks for the clarification. The e-mail sent out today did say "you can see the interviews live on WUTR and WFXV!" so that's why we thought they were being simulcast.
