SYRACUSE -- Galaxy Communications CEO Ed Levine received the 2009 Crystal Ball Award this evening from the Central New York Sales and Marketing Executives.
The award is presented each year to "a local businessperson or group of business people for contributions to the sales and marketing profession, and for efforts and work in the areas of community development and support. "
The CNYSME credits Levine and his staff for pulling in about $10 million in revenue each year, despite competition from major national chains in both the Syracuse and Utica-Rome markets. Previous winners include local convenience store chain owner John MacDougall and the Oneida Indian Nation's Ray Halbritter.
