SYRACUSE/UTICA-ROME -- Galaxy Communications is looking for a new morning host for its K-Rock (WKRL/WKRH/WKLL) trio of stations. A job posting, which appears to have been posted by a radio consulting firm, was posted on a national trade website this morning.

K-Rock, the leading Rock Alternative in Syracuse, wants YOU to rock our mornings. If you know the music and live the lifestyle - and yet still can get up and be semi-coherent by 5AM every day, we want to hear from you!
Mornings on K-Rock are music intensive. We need a personality who provides quick, compelling content on air and loves to be in the streets.

We've noticed the K-Rock website lists former morning host Griffin as a weekend DJ. We've asked K-Rock PD Nixon if he has any additional information or comment to add -- if so, we'll update this story as soon as we hear back.
K-Rock is heard in the Syracuse market on 100.9 WKRL/North Syracuse and 106.5 WKRH/Minetto, and in the Utica-Rome market on 94.9 WKLL/Frankfort.
I'm looking for some weekend work if there is any. I've had a few am shows in the past. I'm interested in starting part-time again. Thanks
