SYRACUSE -- "The most famous Syracuse broadcasters that most of Syracuse has never heard of." That's how reporter Hart Seely describes Mars Hill Radio (WMHR) morning co-hosts Mark Hard and Rich McVicar on the front page of today's Syracuse Post-Standard. Seely's referring to the longevity and reach of Mars Hill, a station which measures success differently than the ratings which rule commercial stations.
If you don't have a copy of today's paper handy, the story is also on syracuse.com. For the article, Seely talked to Hard and McVicar, along with WMHR's Tom Herbert and Wayne Taylor. You'll also see some insights from SU associate professor Roosevelt "Rick" Wright and from your editor here at CNYRadio.com.
And if you're looking for the Eastlan Ratings data mentioned in the article, it's all here.
