SYRACUSE -- Galaxy Media Partners, which owns radio stations in Syracuse and Utica, has named Carrie Veley is new Director of Development - Multi-Platform Strategies. The official press release from Galaxy follows:
Carrie Veley joined the Galaxy Media Partners team as Director of Development – Multi-Platform Strategies. In this role, Carrie will work with local, regional, and national businesses bridging together all the media components offered by Galaxy Media. This comprehensive new role will allow for new and existing clients to further expand their reach to include offerings within events, digital, sports marketing and radio.
Carrie is a Central New York native with a diverse background in event planning, sales, marketing, and business development. Carrie joins Galaxy after spending four years as the Director of PR/Sales and Marketing with Right Coast Inc, The Event Company.
Carrie resides in Syracuse with her two sons. During their non-work and school time, the three of them run and hike together, play competitive games of UNO, Pokemon Go and enjoy movie nights and Oreos.
