SYRACUSE -- Every year, the "40 Under 40" awards honor local professionals for "their accomplishments in business and in our community." The 2022 class includes two women from the Salt City's television newsrooms.
Announced today, the list includes Iris St. Meran, a reporter for NewsChannel 9 (WSYR-TV), who previously worked for Spectrum News.
Also honored is CNY Central's Jana Barnello - you may not recognize her name, as she spends her time off-camera as the Assistant News Director for NBC3 (WSTM-TV), CBS5 (WTVH) and CW6 (WSTM-DT2).
A celebration for this year's Syracuse 40 Under 40 honorees is planned for November at the Oncenter.
