Syracuse TV News Photog Andy Wolf Retires

CNY Central - WSTM NBC3, WKOF CBS5, CW6

SYRACUSE — Congratulations to CNYCentral Chief Photographer Andy Wolf, who retired today after 27 years working for the cluster of TV stations on James Street. Colleagues gathered to celebrate Wolf with some unique parting gifts.

Wolf worked for 27 years at the stations, which include NBC3 (WSTM), CBS5 (WKOF 15.1) and CW6 (WSTM-DT 3.2.).

In a Facebook post, the stations said “Andy loves Pepsi. We count the cans he drinks each day!” The video shows well wishes from various folks including News Director Sean Carroll, anchors Lisa Spitz and Megan Coleman, and others. Along the way, he’s presented with — you guessed it, a lot of Pepsi, and plenty of Pepsi-branded merch.

Wolf also thanked everyone for their kind words and gifts. After the video was posted online, he also commented, “Thank you to my CNY Central family for such a wonderful send off. I enjoyed my time there and worked with the best people in TV.”
