Conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh, who slowly became completely deaf earlier this year, underwent surgery yesterday to place a cochlear implant in one ear.
Doctors are hopeful that Limbaugh will regain some of his hearing once the implant is turned on in a about a month. Limbaugh was given the thumbs-up to return to work in early January. His reaction: “I feel great!”
