UTICA/ROME — If you’ve got on-air experience and want to “back” into the biz on a part-time basis, this one could be for you.  Lite 98.7 (WLZW) is looking to expand its part-time roster.  Here’s the official announcement from PD Eric Meier:

SYRACUSE — Time Warner Cable’s 24/7 local news channel, YNN, has an opening for a web producer.  Much like another job posting from ABC affiliate WSYR-TV earlier this week, the job entails repurposing broadcast news stories and video for the station website.

Updated 6/30 — ITHACA — ROI Broadcasting’s Z95.5 (WFIZ) is looking for a new morning co-host and Program Director, according to a job announcement posted earlier this week.  According to station management, current PD/morning co-host Corey is getting ready to move onto his next opportunity.

SYRACUSE — ABC affiliate NewsChannel 9 (WSYR-TV) has an opening for a web producer, to help write stories and post video to the station’s website, 9WSYR.com.  The job was just posted today, but as of this writing, it’s not on the station’s own website:

UTICA — Applications are now being accepted for journalists, anchors, producers and meteorologists as Nexstar Broadcasting moves closer to bringing a local news product back to ABC affiliate WUTR this fall. The operation will also produce newscasts for sister stations Fox 33 (WFXV) and MyNetwork 11 (WPNY-LP).

ITHACA — Real Rock Radio 93.5 WVBR, owned by Cornell Radio Guild, Inc., is looking for some help in the sales office. Although it’s staffed primarily by Cornell University students, WVBR is a commercial station thanks to its independent ownership. Here’s a job posting we received from WVBR’s Robert Schur:
