SYRACUSE — It’s been almost 29 years since “Big” Mike Fiss came to Central New York to help launch 94Rock (now Y94FM)… and several years since he moved across I-690 to Sunny 102 (WZUN).  This week, Fiss took time to reflect on his long career, and to share some candid thoughts about the radio business

OSWEGO – Getting reception of certain Syracuse stations in the Port City can sometimes be a daunting task, but Sunny 102 (WZUN) is making it easier for listeners to tune in, with the addition of a new translator.

Sunny 102 (WZUN) morning host Big Mike is featured on a new CD being released by the Wise Guys Comedy Club.  “Meet the Wise Guys” is a compilation of Big Mike’s on-air conversations with more than 21 comedians who’ve performed at the club.

After eight years as part of Y94FM’s morning show, Kathy Rowe is giving up early mornings to devote more time to her programming responsibilities and midday on-air shift.
