UTICA -- Happy 100th anniversary to WIBX 950! The Mohawk Valley's News, Talk and Sports Leader originally signed on the air for the first time on December 5, 1925. The centennial was marked with appearances from a handful of station alumni during Bill Keeler's show this morning.
ROCHESTER -- Former WIBX manager Randy Gorbman has a new job in Rochester. After many years as news director at WHAM 1180 in Rochester (which included occasional appearances voicing reports for sister station 570 WSYR in Syracuse), Gorbman has a new job a bit higher up the AM dial.
