Rock fans in Ithaca can enjoy the virtual thrill of going to a concert every weekend, thanks to a new addition to the programming lineup at Saga’s I-100 (WIII).

Glenn Beck’s familiar greeting, “hello…. ya sick, twisted freaks!” will soon be heard every morning in the Ithaca-Cortland market.  Saga news/talker WHCU 870 is adding the popular radio and TV host to its weekday lineup, effective September 2.

After a slow stretch, this is turning out to be a pretty busy Friday here at CNYRadio.com.  Dave Vieser from WHCU in Ithaca tells us the Ithaca news/talker has an immediate opening for an Assistant News Director.  Here’s the job posting, exactly as Dave sent it:

We’ll take the blame for the cheesy headline — we couldn’t resist, but we hope it got your attention! I-100 (WIII) Program Director Mark Vanness says he’s still looking for someone to fill the afternoon drive slot that’s been vacant since Dan Ward announced his departure back in April.
