UTICA-ROME -- There's a new evening show on Townsquare Media country station Big Frog 104 (WFRG). The syndicated Taste of Country Nights debuted last night, bumping Premiere's Lia at Night to the overnight shift. WFRG is among more than 30 Townsquare stations clearing the new evening show.

The "Live Events Manager" position includes all aspects of planning concerts, trade shows, expos and other events.

UTICA/ROME -- After roughly two months of "filling in" as the morning host on Oldiez 96.1 (WODZ), Davey Jones has been named the station's permanent morning host and brand manager. Station owner Townsquare Media announced the promotion late last week. Jones has worked in various capacities within the four-station cluster since late 2009.
UTICA-ROME -- After nearly 16 years with what is now Townsquare Media, Geoff Storm is headed onto a new venture. His last day with the four-station camp will be June 1. That leaves the cluster looking for its next production wizard. Operations manager Bill McAdams sends along the following job posting:
UTICA-ROME -- Townsquare Media Creative Services Director Geoff Storm has been named "Ad Person of the Year" by the Mohawk Valley Advertising Club. The club says Storm was selected not only for the work he does for Townsquare, but also for his volunteer efforts outside of the office.

SYRACUSE -- Clear Channel country station B104.7 (WBBS) is once again among the nominees for the Country Music Association Awards. This year, the station is in the running for "CMA Radio Station of the Year" in the Medium Market category. Syndicated personalities carried by stations in Syracuse, Utica and Ithaca are also nominated.
