Since 1969, WRVO has been broadcasting from SUNY Oswego's Lanigan Hall. Come this May, the public radio station will move to brand new studios in a different building on campus.
A year-long capital campaign in 2004 raised a total of $330,000 for the studio upgrades which will include new digital studio equipment and a new, higher-powered digital transmitter.
The move will also allow the station to resume production of its daily public affairs program Talk of the Region.
